SSI Extended Range Foundations is the starting point of the technical diving pathway within the Scuba Schools International Extended Range program. This course introduces divers to the equipment, procedures, and mindset required for with advanced Configurations like Sidemount or Twinsets.
During the course, divers learn how to use twinsets or sidemount configurations efficiently, and apply advanced buoyancy and trim techniques. The program also focuses on dive planning, team procedures, gas management.
SSI Extended Range Foundations does not increase depth limits. Instead, it builds strong core diving skills and standardizes procedures, preparing divers for more advanced courses such as Extended Range or decompression diving programs.
It is the ideal course for divers who want to refine their skills, improve efficiency in the water, and build a solid foundation before progressing into deeper or decompression technical diving.
