SSI Technical Extended Range is an advanced course within the Scuba Schools International Extended Range program, designed for divers who want to conduct deeper and more demanding decompression dives.
The program builds on the skills developed in Extended Range and focuses on advanced dive planning, complex gas management, and the use of multiple stage or decompression cylinders in dive up to 60 meters. Divers refine their team procedures, problem-solving skills, and precision in buoyancy and trim while performing longer decompression dives.
Technical Extended Range prepares divers for deeper technical diving by combining solid procedures, proper equipment configuration, and disciplined team diving practices.
