SSI Extended Range Configurations is an advanced skills development course within the Scuba Schools International Extended Range program. Similar to Extended Range Foundations, this course focuses on refining core technical diving skills, improving efficiency in the water, and developing precise team procedures.

In addition to mastering trim, buoyancy, propulsion techniques, and standardized team protocols, divers learn how to correctly set up and handle a stage cylinder. The course also introduces essential technical diving emergency procedures, including valve shutdown drills and equipment failure management.

SSI Extended Range Configurations is designed to build confidence and competence when diving with more complex equipment setups. By focusing on proper configuration, stage cylinder handling, and emergency response, the course prepares divers for the demands of more advanced Extended Range programs.
